The Expedition Haringvliet is also ope- rational in 2019. From Saturday 1 June 2019, Linquenda II and the Hoeksche Vaart provide this special ferry connection over the Haringvliet. The Expedition Haringvliet is not merely a sailing connection, but offers a personal approach, and an ultimate experience of the water and nature. In Numansdorp, you can seek out Fort Buitensluis, and in Stellendam, you can visit the seal shelter A Seal. In the months of June and September 2019 the ferries (Linquenda II and the Hoeksche Vaart) sail the Haringvliet at the weekends on Saturday and Sunday. In the summer holiday, the frequency is even six days per week, from Tuesday through Sunday. The ferries serve various destinations on the Haringvliet: Hellevoetsluis, Stellendam, Middelharnis, Willemstad, Stad aan ‘t Haringvliet, Nieuwendijk and Tiengemeten.
