Stad aan ‘t Haringvliet ‘Stad’ or ‘Stat’ means ‘place by the water’, and in this case it means the water of the Haringvliet. Expedition Haringvliet takes you to the pretty village harbour of Stad aan ‘t Haringvliet. Besides this village harbour, Stad aan ‘t Haringvliet also has a large marina, which makes it an attractive landing point for water sports lovers. The name: De Korenaer, built in 1746, indicates that it was originally a flour mill.
