Numansdorp On the west side of the Hoeksche Waard is the village of Numansdorp, next to the Hollands Diep. This villa- ge was founded in 1642 and named after the very first landlord, Gerard Numan. Wander through the enjoyable Voorstraat, which has many wonderful options for eating and shopping. Also worth a visit is the Fort Buitensluis.
